“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson spent 15 minutes on Oprah’s talk show this afternoon to talk about his personal life, the Super Bowl, and his movie career. There were no mentions of pro wrestling , but the intro video for Johnson showed various clips from his WWE career.
Johnson’s first-ever interview on Oprah’s show was designed to appeal to Oprah’s traditional female demographic with focus on Johnson’s family history, his daughter, and a personal redemption story.
“For some time, I was investing in my career. I got very selfish,” he said. “I then understood the importance of investing in the people around me and not just myself.”
The intro video package gave a figure that Johnson has grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide in his movie career.
