The wrestler turned actor admits that he kept the pink tut and ballet slippers from the family comedy movie.
Speaking to The Press Association the actor said: “I did keep the outfit, you have to keep the pink tutu… because visually it just looks so absurd, size 14 pink ballet slippers, so I do have those.”
Johnson takes on the role of Derek Thompson who, after discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labour as a real tooth fairy.
“Her voice, her acting, her writing is incredible and it’s so passionate, and wonderful and inspiring as it relates to children.
“The great thing about Julie Andrews is, as brilliant and as successful as she is, to watch her on set and making everyone feel very very comfortable, was really magical.”
He added: “That’s the mark of somebody special. I love that woman, I love Julie.”
Tooth Fairy is released 28th May.
